Care in the Field:
To ensure sure your mount turns out to be the best it can be there are certain steps to take in the field before bringing us your trophy. The better you take care of your trophy in the field the higher quality the end product. Please take some time to read the information below tohelp us ensure your trophy will be everything you expect and more. All A2F fish mounts are freeze dried after they are mounted on a form. This technique eliminates skin shrinkage and yields a better finished product. Also please note: Only your fish's skin is freeze dried and used during the mounting process. Absolutely no meat or entrails are used in mounting your fish.
Birds: Wrap the feet in wet paper towel. Place the bird in an airtight plastic bag and freeze. Be sure to arrange feathers in place.
Game Heads: Do Not Cut the Throat of ANY Animal! When gutting the animal and splitting the rib cage, do not cut into the brisket. For full shoulder mounts, cut 6 inches behind the front legs. Be sure to leave enough extra hide. Keep the hide very cool or frozen to prevent hair from slipping. Bring the hide in as soon as possible. Antlers 2 Fins does NOT take responsibility for improperly handled skins. All skins are handled at the owner's risk.
Fish: When freezing fish for mounting, lay fins flat and wrap in a wet towel, then wrap it in plastic. Be sure to freeze the fish as flat as possible!

A deposit is required on ALL mounts at the time of drop off.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE
Deposits will be as follows:
1/3 Down at Drop Off
1/3 Down at Start of Mount
1/3 Final Payment plus tax At Time of Pick-up
Any extra work
done over the cost of the mount is done at the rate of $35.00 Per Hour

badly damaged skins, repairing antlers, form alterations, any additional
work done on the mount)
*Please Note ALL Form Alterations, Base Work, Habitat Scenes, and Water
Scenes are done at the hourly rate plus supply costs.*
Note About Completion
Times:
Completion times CANNOT
be given due to unforeseen circumstances that can cause delays. Please
refrain from calling to check on mounts unless in urgent situations. YouWILL
be called when your mount is nearing completion.
